Skinny fat

I became something that I promised that I would never become when I was a teenager. Fat. And what was worse is that I had become skinny fat and I didn’t even want to admit it.

In hindsight, I know why I became skinny fat. I didn’t pay attention to what I was eating. I did no cardiovascular endurance or activities. And the lifting that I did at the gym was all based on Bro science or me just wandering around doing bro split exercises from what I’d learned or overheard over the years.

There are several other guys and girls that have been or are in the same predicament.

I lost 17kg in body fat off my frame. To think that I was still skinny, but holding so much fat is unbelievable.

Today, I sit at 79.9kg with more lean muscle, but still 16% body fat on my frame.

There are no excuses for being skinny fat. You need to admit that you have a skinny fat frame and then arrange your lifestyle so that you can have the right balance again. Otherwise, you will just keep on adding more fat to your skinny frame.
