I’m writing this post because I’ve gone through 6 blenders over the past 18 months. The amount of money that’s been spent on these mediocre blenders could have gone into a high-quality blender that would have stood the test of time.

I don’t want you to waste your money in the same way that I have by buying something that will only last for a few weeks or a few months.

Having a high-quality blender will give you more healthy nutrition options, and it will help to keep your nutrition costs to a reasonable level.

In this post, I will share the blenders that I believe are best for bodybuilders and I will also categorize them based on some of the benefits that I’ve experienced.

This is the gold standard of blenders and it will do everythig for you. It’s known for being able to blend, mix, crush, chop, cook and more. It is high-quality, which means it also comes with a high price tag.

You won’t need to concern yourself with recipe ideas with this device. It is known to be used amongst the world’s top chefs.

Check out one of the blends in the video below.

Prices start from $1630

Best blender for smoothies

If you want to do smoothies regularly, you will need to get a blender that’s designed for crushing ice. There are a few things that you need to consider when purchasing this type of blender.

  1. Will the blades and the motor easily crush the ice when blending.
  2. Will it withstand the blending frequency. (It’s not uncommon to use the blender up to 3 times a day, which may wear out the motor or the blades quickly).

This is another excellent option that is more affordable, however it doesn’t provide the self-cooking option. Nonetheless, it is a powerful blender that is regularly found in restaurants. So if you are looking for restaurant-level blending quality, then this is one of the more cost-effective options to go for.

Confidently blend smoothies, create your own pastes (e.g. peanut butter), and more.

Best blender for protein shakes

If you are just looking for something that will only do your protein shakes quickly and easily, you can check out this option.

I have mixed feelings about these types of blenders simply because I personally prefer to get a larger blender that can do more. However, there may be people who just want to get this type of blender to make a smoothie in less than a minute. This is handy for an office environment.

The good thing is the price for this is low compared to other smoothies. But you can only do a small serving at a time. It’s not designed to blend hot liquids as well and some customers have reported some limitations when crushing iced products.

However, that being said. If you just wanted to blend fruits into your protein shake, it should do the job.

Prices start from $45.

Best quiet morning shake blender

Blenders make alot of noise in the morning. I find that I usually use mine from 6:30am onwards. It is good to have a blender that has a low noise level and that is quiet enough so it won’t wake up the neighbours or other people in the home.

At the same time, you want a blender that will give you the blending performance that you desire.

The Blendtec Professional 800 Blender does just that. It doesn’t come cheap. But it blends and also provides additional functionalities that will expand your nutrition options.

Prices start from $800.

What nutrition options will you get by investing in the right blender?

Smoothies

This is the ideal option in my opinion. I can simply add in my low-fat coconut milk with fruits and my protein scoop to create a delicious smoothie with the macros that I need.

You can click here to see the blender recipes that I have previously published.

Smoothie bowls

This is something that my wife and I enjoy as a part of our breakfast. It is quick and easy to make. And it is made with fresh ingredients. Simply measure out what will go into the smoothie and serve it in a bowl with an assortment of nutritious food.

My wife will usually eat her smoothie bowl by itself. I will consume mine with 100g of cooked oats.

Puree/mash

We can puree foods like sweet potato. This makes it an easy snack or side dish to consume.

Soups

We can use the blender to make hearty soup dishes.

I strongly advise you to invest in a good quality blender. If your budget permits, buy one of the blenders recommended above. Don’t purchase a cheap one simply for the price, as you won’t get your moneys worth.
